About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a community-based allied health provider in Canberra, ACT that takes a genuinely different approach to workload and caseload design.

This is a part time position (minimum 3 days per week) with the option to work as a contractor. You will deliver quality occupational therapy services across community settings, supporting clients to maintain and improve their functional ability, independence and quality of life. Your caseload will be tailored to your interests and strengths across NDIS, DVA and/or Home Care clients, with genuine flexibility in how and where you work including face-to-face visits, telehealth, home visits and kindy-based sessions.

- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions across community settings
- Support clients to maintain and improve functional ability, independence and quality of life
- Work across NDIS, DVA and/or Home Care caseloads based on your interests and strengths
- Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team, with direct access to a Clinical Lead for day-to-day mentoring and an OT Team Leader for operational support
- Deliver services via face-to-face, telehealth, home visiting and kindy-based sessions as required

- $87,000 - $110,000 per annum + super, bonus and travel (employee), or competitive contractor rates

About You:

- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification)
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- 2-4 years of clinical experience, ideally in community, NDIS, aged care or home care settings
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and effective therapeutic relationships
- Confidence working autonomously in community settings while collaborating as part of a broader team
- Evidence-based approach to clinical practice and commitment to ongoing professional development
- Experience across multiple funding streams (NDIS, DVA, Home Care Packages)
- Experience with home modifications, assistive technology or equipment prescription
- Experience mentoring students or less experienced clinicians
