HAYLO People are experts in General Insurance recruitment, we are partnered with a leading general insurer in the GI space that is looking to hire an experienced financial lines claims handler.
This is an exciting role where you'll be a key part of the Financial Lines team, with the opportunity to be client facing and handle some large and interesting claims.
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 Base Salary, + Super + Bonus
Location: Hybrid - Melbourne CBD
The role:
- Claims Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of claims end to end across a broad range of claims within Financial Lines
- Technical Expertise: With your experience, you will have the ability to assess the claim upon notification and the best actions to take, always with best practice in mind
- Market facing: Go out to market in business development focused meetings. Assist leaders and underwriters and build relations with key members of the industry
About you:
- Minimum 3 years experience in financial lines claims management
- Experience in private practice or insurance will be considered
- Experience in major losses is preferred, however is not essential
- Experience in managing relationships internally and externally
- A relevant law qualification is preferred but not essential
