The Role

With continued success across major projects nationally, this multidisciplinary consultancy is investing in senior civil capability. They are seeking a new Principal Civil Engineer to help lead and deliver a broad range of civil and infrastructure projects, supporting design, coordination and client outcomes across multiple disciplines, with a clear pathway to further leadership within a nationally growing team.

The Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver civil engineering projects of a complex nature to meet client and authority requirements
- Apply sound judgement to develop practical, technically robust engineering solutions across infrastructure and building-related works
- Manage design, specification and reporting deliverables across project packages, including liaison with drafters and designers for documentation delivery
- Provide high-level technical oversight across designs and models,



reviewing and guiding detailed production work while enabling confident, solution-focused client discussions
- Undertake site inspections and engineering reviews where required
- Liaise and coordinate with councils, architects and services and structural engineers on design issues

The Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Member of Engineers Australia
- Proven track record delivering building and infrastructure related projects
- Demonstrated ability in preparation of delated, well-structured reports
- Highly consultative and proven commitment to maintaining client relationships
- Comfortable operating in a client-facing consulting role, with the ability to review technical outputs and provide practical guidance without needing to be hands-on in detailed modelling
