Are you an organised and proactive administrator with a passion for workforce coordination? Apollo Care are looking for a Full Time Workforce Officer to join our supportive and collaborative team in a primarily remote role.
Working from home, you'll initially provide rostering support to Yackandandah Health, with the opportunity to support an additional site as our services grow. While the role is predominantly remote, travel to supported sites will be required with all expenses paid.
About the Role
As a Workforce Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining staff rosters across clinical and support services, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are achieved while meeting operational requirements, award obligations and budget expectations. Working closely with managers and employees, you'll help ensure shifts are filled efficiently and workforce needs are met in a timely manner. This is an integral role in ensuring our workforce is effectively planned to deliver high-quality care while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain and publish accurate staff rosters in consultation with managers.
- Coordinate planned and unplanned leave, shift replacements and roster changes.
- Liaise with employees to fill vacant shifts while ensuring compliance with award conditions and organisational policies.
- Monitor staffing levels to support safe, efficient service delivery.
- Provide rostering support across Yackandandah Health and a second site as required.
- Maintain accurate workforce records and ensure roster data is current and reliable.
- Identify opportunities to improve rostering processes and contribute to continuous service improvement.
- Build positive working relationships with managers and staff to support workforce planning.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in rostering,
workforce planning or administration, preferably within healthcare, aged care or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated experience using electronic rostering and workforce management systems.
- Sound knowledge of modern awards, enterprise agreements and workforce compliance.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused mindset.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
