White Collar Blue is looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Sydney team in Parramatta — and we are ready for the right person to start within the next 48 hours.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is not a role where you spend the day rearranging your inbox and waiting for candidates to magically appear.

You will be:

- Making high volumes of outbound calls to candidates
- Sourcing candidates for current vacancies
- Screening and assessing candidate suitability
- Proactively and strategically asking candidates for referrals
- Following up applicants quickly and consistently
- Listening carefully and identifying the important details others miss
- Building and maintaining strong candidate relationships
- Completing candidate registrations
- Confirming availability, experience, qualifications and work preferences
- Shortlisting reliable candidates for suitable roles
- Keeping candidate records accurate and up to date
- Checking in with placed candidates and resolving issues early
- Working quickly without sacrificing quality

The Person We’re Looking For

You do not need to be the loudest person in the room, but you do need to be confident on the phone.

You will have:

- Resilience and the ability to keep going after hearing “no”
- Drive, urgency and a strong work ethic
- Confidence making a large volume of calls
- The ability to ask strong questions and genuinely listen to the answers
- A natural instinct for identifying good candidates
- The confidence to ask candidates for referrals
- Strong follow-up and organisation skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude without needing constant motivation




- Recruitment, labour-hire, candidate management, call-centre or high-volume customer-service experience

Experience recruiting within warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, transport or blue-collar industries will be highly regarded.

A Typical Day May Include

- Calling candidates who applied overnight
- Speaking with 20 people before morning tea
- Following up someone who promised to send their licence yesterday
- Finding a great candidate through a referral nobody else thought to ask for
- Completing registrations and matching candidates to current vacancies
- Hearing “not interested” several times and calling the next person anyway
- Discovering the perfect candidate because you listened instead of simply waiting to speak
- Checking that placed candidates are attending work and performing well
- Reconnecting with previously registered candidates who may now be available
