An excellent opportunity is available for an ED Junior Registrar to join the Emergency Department at Launceston General Hospital. Recent experience working as an ED Registrar or ED PHO is essential.
This is a non-in-charge position, with no solo night shifts. Nights are staffed by a senior registrar, 1–2 junior registrars and 2–3 JMOs, with multiple FACEMs on site from 0800–2400 and FACEM cover on call overnight.
The department offers exposure to a broad range of emergency presentations, with key subspecialties available on site including a 24/7 cath lab and ECMO-capable ICU.
