Searson Buck is recruiting for two Side Loader Garbage Bin Operators for a temporary position. This is hands-on work that keeps Hobart's streets clean and services running smoothly. You'll be operating a side-load garbage truck, managing collections across the city, and working as part of a dedicated waste management team. The role offers a competitive Casual hourly rate of AUD$41.36.
- Operate side-load garbage collection trucks across Hobart's residential and commercial areas
- Temporary position with AUD$41.36 per hour
- Essential HR truck licence and waste management experience required
Preferred Requirements
- Current HR truck licence (mandatory)
- Proven experience in waste management or garbage collection operations
- Physically fit and healthy,
capable of performing manual handling and repetitive lifting tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working early morning shifts
- Solid safety awareness and commitment to following workplace health and safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- HR truck licence classification
- Formal waste management or environmental services training or certification
- Previous experience operating side-load or similar automated collection equipment.
