About the position
Our client is looking for an experienced Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of a premium cosmetic dental clinic in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the appointment book, patient flow, team performance, operational processes and commercial outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can confidently manage front-of-house, support clinical operations and analyse performance metrics to improve results.
You will play a key role in ensuring every patient interaction reflects a premium standard of care, particularly for patients seeking cosmetic and high-value dental treatments such as veneers, dental implants, crowns, teeth whitening, smile makeovers, Invisalign and other aesthetic procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the appointment book to maximise chair utilisation and revenue
- Leading front-of-house and clinical support teams
- Supporting recruitment, training and performance management
- Maintaining a premium patient experience across all touchpoints
- Improving scheduling efficiency, patient flow and treatment conversion
- Managing suppliers, inventory and practice costs
- Implementing and refining standard operating procedures
- Handling escalated patient concerns professionally and discreetly
- Preparing regular performance reports for senior leadership
- Working closely with marketing and sales teams to convert and retain patients
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Practice Manager in dental, medical aesthetics or premium healthcare
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage revenue targets
- Experience managing appointment books, chair utilisation and patient flow
- Confident leadership skills across clinical and non-clinical teams
- Strong understanding of premium patient service expectations
- Highly organised, process-driven and calm under pressure
- Experience with practice management software, ideally Dental4Web
- CRM experience, ideally HubSpot
- Background in cosmetic, implant or high-value dental environments highly regarded
- Familiarity with AHPRA compliance requirements is desirable
