Project Manager, Mechanical Services - HVAC

We're representing a national building services company with a fifty-year track record of delivering some of Australia's most complex and high-profile commercial projects. Privately owned and respected across the industry, their work speaks louder than words, and they are quietly expanding in New South Wales.

As part of this growth, they are looking for a Project Manager to drive mechanical construction projects from concept through to handover, reporting directly to the Construction Manager. You'll be at the heart of the action, steering projects, teams, and stakeholders with authority, clarity, and technical precision.

What you'll be doing

- Delivering mechanical and HVAC construction projects for Tier 1 builders across commercial, healthcare, retail, and precinct developments
- Leading project delivery from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain high performance and collaboration
- Monitoring costs, cash flow, variations, and invoicing, with commercial accountability at every stage




- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards are embedded in every decision

What you'll bring

- 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager in mechanical or HVAC construction
- Proven experience managing projects valued $2 million+
- Mechanical, HVAC, or Air Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Solid understanding of commercial construction environments and project delivery methods
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a high-performing team
