Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer looking to take ownership of projects while remaining hands-on in design and client delivery?

I am currently working with a well-established multidisciplinary building services consultancy that is continuing to grow its Melbourne team.

They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior/Associate Mechanical
Engineer / Project Lead who can drive projects from concept through to completion while mentoring junior engineers and acting as a key point of contact for clients.

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy delivering technically challenging projects across sectors including healthcare, laboratories, education, commercial, workplace, public infrastructure, cultural facilities, aged care, defence and data centres.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions on some of Australia's most significant developments.

The Role Reporting to senior leadership, you will:

- Lead the mechanical design and delivery of complex building services projects
- Manage client relationships and attend project meetings
- Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Oversee project programmes, budgets and resource allocation




- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and drafters
- Review and approve design documentation and calculations
- Contribute to business development and project pursuits

About You
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years' experience within a building services consultancy environment
- Proven experience leading projects and managing client relationships
- Strong technical knowledge across HVAC and mechanical building services systems
- Proficient in Revit and industry-standard design software
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- CPEng, NER or working towards registration would be highly regarded
- Building Services Experience
