The Job

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day financial accounting function while supporting month-end reporting, compliance and a range of finance transformation projects.

You will be responsible for the following duties:

- Assisting with month-end close, journals and financial reporting
- Managing prepayments, accruals and fixed assets




- Maintaining the fixed asset register and associated reconciliations
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting income statement reporting
- Providing analysis and commentary on monthly financial results
- Assisting with external audit requirements and statutory reporting
- Supporting finance systems, process improvement and automation initiatives
- Contributing to finance transformation projects, including system enhancements and workflow improvements
- Providing general financial accounting support across the broader finance team

You

To be successful, you'll be a technically capable Financial Accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and thrives on improving processes.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring the following experience, skills and personal qualities:

- Minimum 3 years experience as a financial accountant
- Degree qualified in accounting, commerce or finance and CA or CPA qualification (or be nearing completion)
- Experience gained within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm, complemented by commercial accounting experience is highly regarded
- Experience using NetSuite is advantageous
- Exposure to SaaS, technology or other high-growth businesses
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
