We are seeking an experienced and proactive Family Assistant to support a busy, professional family with three young children.
This is an established role within a well-run household, where a separate cleaner is also employed.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining high standards, and contributing to a smoothly run home environment.
The role involves overseeing the day-to-day organisation and upkeep of the home.
Responsibilities include resetting the household, managing laundry, general tidying, and coordinating trades and services as required.

The ideal candidate will be mature minded, enjoys a varied day, someone that takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail and brings a calm, professional presence to the home. Must be pet friendly, and whilst there is no pet care required there is a gorgeous mini poodle at the property.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Resetting the home daily following the morning routine
- Kitchen upkeep including unpacking/repacking dishwasher and maintaining organisation
- Laundry management including washing, drying, folding and putting away clothing
- Ensure storage areas, cupboards and household spaces are kept organised
- Changing bed linens and maintaining bedroom presentation
- Light cleaning and tidying,



with occasional deeper cleaning tasks as required
- Managing bins, mail collection and general household upkeep
- Coordinating and liaising with regular trades (cleaner, pool maintenance, gardeners, repairs etc.)
- Arranging services such as car detailing, annual servicing etc
- Maintaining gym and outdoor areas, including light cleaning of equipment
- Running general errands and assisting with ad hoc household tasks

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

- Previous experience in a similar role within a private home
- Mature minded, qualified and highly organised with a strong work ethic
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Excellent contactable references
- Full working rights in Australia (Not Suitable for Visa Holders – unless Permanent Visa)
- Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

- Part-time or Full-time hours available (flexibility to suit the right candidate)
