ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Project Director to join a leading civil contractor and lead the tender for a major civil infrastructure project in New Zealand.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior leader with experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects and managing major bids from planning through to project award.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the tender and bid process for a major infrastructure project.
- Manage the planning, commercial, and technical aspects of the bid.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Lead and coordinate the project team throughout the tender phase.
- Identify project risks and develop practical solutions.
- Support the project through to delivery after contract award.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience as a Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or similar.




- Experience leading large project bids or tenders.
- Strong background in earthworks, roading, and concrete projects.
- Wind farm project experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial skills.
