This is an excellent opportunity for a Speech Pathologist with at least two years of experience to join a highly regarded paediatric service supporting children and families throughout Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with a negotiable start date.

- Salary: $91,000–$117,000 + super
- Additional earnings: Transparent quarterly bonuses

About the Role

You’ll provide engaging, evidence-based assessment and therapy to children with a range of communication, literacy, feeding and swallowing needs.
Your caseload may include:

- Speech sound development
- Expressive and receptive language
- Stuttering
- Literacy
- Feeding and swallowing
- Play and connection
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Most services are delivered within a well-resourced clinic environment, with occasional school or home visits and opportunities to participate in group programs where appropriate.

You’ll work closely with children, families and other professionals to develop individualised therapy plans that recognise each child’s strengths, interests and goals.

About You

You’ll be a warm, collaborative Speech Pathologist who values evidence-based practice, meaningful clinical support and positive outcomes for children and their families.
To be considered, you’ll need:

- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current Speech Pathology Australia membership
- Minimum 2 years of postgraduate experience desired
- Experience or a genuine interest in paediatric practice
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative, family-centred approach
