Marine Mechanical Fitter - Fishing Vessel Maintenance
Seeking a trade-qualified Marine Mechanical Fitter to service and maintain commercial fishing vessels. This hands-on role involves diagnostics, fault finding, breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance across a range of marine mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
- Perform breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
- Service and repair winches, pumps, anchors and deck equipment.
- Maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and maintain vessel mechanical systems.
- Complete work safely and to a high standard.

Essential Requirements

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Marine Mechanical Fitter.
- Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience maintaining commercial or marine mechanical equipment.
- White Card.
- Confined Space Entry.
- Working at Heights.
- Current driver's licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
