About the Role

Nordex is seeking a Project Planner to support the successful delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Australia.

Whether you're an experienced Planner or a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or Project Manager looking to transition into planning, this is a rare opportunity to join a global renewable energy leader and play a key role in delivering some of Australia's largest renewable energy projects.

Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement and Site teams, you'll develop and maintain project schedules, monitor project progress and provide critical project controls support throughout the project lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your planning expertise while working on complex, large-scale infrastructure projects with an experienced and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks and delays, and provide accurate forecasting and recovery plans where required.
- Support tendering and project execution through the preparation of planning schedules and programme updates.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering,



Procurement and Site teams to ensure integrated project planning and scheduling.
- Track critical path activities, project milestones and key deliverables to support successful project outcomes.
- Prepare and present regular planning reports, schedule updates and performance metrics for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure planning processes, schedules and reporting comply with company standards and project requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning tools, methodologies and project controls practices.

Skills & Experience

We're open to candidates from a range of project delivery backgrounds. You may be:

- An experienced Project Planner who has been involved in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish.
- A Project Engineer or Site Engineer who has delivered major projects from inception through to completion and is looking to build a long-term career in project planning.
- A Project Manager who enjoys the planning and scheduling aspects of project delivery and is looking to transition into a dedicated planning role.

You'll also bring:

- Experience delivering large-scale engineering, construction, infrastructure, power or renewable energy projects.
- Exposure to the full project lifecycle, from planning through to construction and completion.
- Experience using Primavera P6 or another project scheduling platform (highly regarded, but not essential for candidates transitioning into planning).
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Renewable energy experience is advantageous but not essential—candidates from infrastructure, civil construction, power, mining or other major project environments are encouraged to apply.
