AusJobz is seeking a Coordinator – District Work Planning for a contract based in Kalgoorlie. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in maintenance planning, work scheduling or operational coordination who enjoys working closely with field teams to ensure work is planned safely, efficiently and effectively.

This role offers a mix of office and field-based work, providing the opportunity to build strong relationships with operational teams, contractors and support services while contributing to the planning and delivery of critical maintenance activities.

About the Role

As the Coordinator – District Work Planning, you'll be responsible for developing safe work plans, coordinating maintenance activities and supporting the efficient delivery of operational work. You'll work closely with field personnel to understand work requirements, identify risks and continuously improve planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop Safe Work Packs for medium and high-risk operational and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate work planning and scheduling to support field operations.
- Review and improve maintenance plans through operational feedback and continuous improvement.
- Conduct site validations and safety observations.
- Support contractor coordination and minor project activities.




- Assist with permit approvals and site liaison activities.
- Build strong working relationships with operational teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Use Maximo, SAP and Microsoft Excel to support planning, reporting and work management.
- Attend daily 7:00am operational debrief meetings.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Experience in operational planning, maintenance scheduling or work coordination within infrastructure, utilities, mining, industrial or similar environments.
- Experience using systems such as Maximo, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- An understanding of maintenance and operational work practices.
- Experience working alongside contractors and project teams.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence.

Operational or trade experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Position Details

- Location: Kalgoorlie
- ⏰ Start: ASAP
- Contract: Until 8 January 2027
- Pay Rate: Up to $64.34 per hour
- Hours: 38 hours per week
