The Prospect:

Nepean Blue Mountains LHD is looking for motivated Advanced Trainees to provide support across its Geriatric Medicine services. You will work 5 days per week and contribute to the weekend roster, gaining broad experience in acute geriatrics and subspecialty services.

Clinical Environment:

- Comprehensive geriatrics exposure - acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, Orthogeriatrics, perioperative medicine, consultative services, outpatient clinics, and outreach via Virtual Aged Care Services (VACS)
- Career progression - ideal for Advanced Trainees seeking to strengthen competencies in geriatrics and internal medicine
- Teaching hospital setting - supportive consultant supervision in a multidisciplinary environment
- Flexible block options - choose from multiple locum dates across 2026-2027

Eligibility Criteria:

- AHPRA General Registration
- Advanced Trainee in Geriatric Medicine (FRACP pathway desirable)
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Australian working rights




- Willingness to complete local credentialing and onboarding

What's Provided:

- $150 - $200/hour depending on experience and shift type
