Grounds Keeper + Handyperson

The Role:

- Hands on Maintenance & Grounds Keeping of a College
- Use of garden tools to assist with gardening duties when requested.
- Upkeep and general cleaning of school grounds daily, including cleaning of building exteriors
- Manage waste Disposal: General and Recycling
- Use of Small power tools and Hand tools to manage & maintain outdoor furniture
- Sports Field maintenance and Line Marking
- Upkeep of AC enclosures, Spoon drains and blow pipe drains
- Assist with set-up for college functions when required

Criteria:

- White card
- Working with Children Check
- Minimum of 6 months experience in Grounds Keeping or Handyman (Highly desirable)
- Model and maintain the Catholic and Presentation ethos and traditions of the College
- Well organized, accurate,



creative and creative.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated capacity for self-directed work and for taking initiative.
- Valid driver's licence (C Class or LR)
- Current National Police Clearance (Required - Less than 3 months old)
- Physically fit & Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
