As an Occupational Therapist at Take Charge Assessment and Therapy, you will play a vital role in helping our NDIS and Aged Care clients improve their quality of life. You can be based anywhere in Melbourne, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, participant-centred environment, providing specialised occupational therapy services to a diverse range of clients.

What you'll be doing

- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, strengths and limitations
- Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to help clients achieve their goals
- Providing hands-on therapy and training in areas such as activities of daily living, sensory integration, and cognitive-perceptual skills
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and speech therapists, to ensure a coordinated approach to client care
- Maintaining detailed client records and providing progress reports to clients and referring organisations
- Actively participating in team meetings and professional development activities

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a community setting
- Preferable experience in AT and/or Home mods
- A focus on working with adults/physical health
- Robust assessment and clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of your clients and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position
