Pay: $35 to $40 per hour

The Opportunity
We seek a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our clinical team. This role suits an experienced nurse with at least 1–2 years in primary care or a related clinical setting. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nursing support across a variety of general practice activities while working closely with GPs and allied health staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care including wound management, chronic disease monitoring, immunisations, and pathology collection.
- Conduct health assessments, patient education, and follow-up for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and COPD.
- Assist GPs with procedures, clinical audits, recall systems, and care planning.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure infection control and safety standards are upheld.
- Support population health initiatives, screening programs, and patient recall systems.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement activities, and ongoing professional development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident status.
- Diploma or Graduate Diploma in Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ clinical nursing experience, preferably in general practice or community health.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current CPR certification and understanding of immunisation schedules.
