SEQH operates from company-owned sites in Hemmant and Toowoomba, both currently undergoing major upgrades. Key Requirements
- Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy vehicle maintenance
- HC/MC License or willingness to obtain one, is an advantage
- Solid technical skills and knowledge of diesel engine systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy vehicle components
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is performed to industry standards
