The Role

Reporting into a talented Managing Partner, your role as Financial Controller will be based in Sydney’s CBD and you will enjoy an appealing breadth of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

- Manage, train and mentor a finance team of 2 staff
- Management and oversight of the whole finance function while being hands-on with reporting,



compliance, tax, budgeting, forecasting & analysis
- Business partner with non-finance stakeholders to understand performance and deliver insights
- Work with the leadership team on strategic financial management and to support executive decision-making
- Oversee and drive projects
- Document and drive best practices

Your Background

In order to be considered for this Financial Controller opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

- Professionally qualified as an Accountant (e.g. CA, ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Relatable industry experience is a pre-requisite (e.g. Legal, Consulting, Skilled Services etc..)
- Prior staff management experience
- Have worked in a SME in a broad, hands-on finance role previously
- Be a robust communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to liaise with stakeholders, motivate your team, present with confidence and build relationships
- Possess a strong work ethic coupled with exemplary attention to detail
