We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Operative to join a well-established business in Silverwater. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability, with an immediate start available and the potential to transition from a casual role into a permanent position.
The role combines forklift operation, warehouse duties, dispatch support, and general stores work within a business that supports the production and distribution of industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating counterbalance forklifts to safely load, unload, and move stock
- Cross-loading freight and preparing orders for dispatch
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
- Picking, packing, and staging orders
- Moving materials between warehouse and production areas
- Handling heavy and awkwardly shaped items and pallets
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
- Supporting general warehouse and stores operations as required
About You
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Minimum 6 months' counterbalance forklift experience
- Previous warehouse, stores, or logistics experience
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in machinery is highly regarded, though no trade qualifications are required
