Maintenance Electrician – FMCG Manufacturing (Brand New Site)

Days Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
$58-$60 per hour + Overtime (double time) + Super

Are you a skilled Maintenance Electrician looking for a fresh opportunity in a modern, state-of-the-art facility? We’re partnering with a leading packaging manufacturer that has just launched a brand new site and is building a high-performing maintenance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a clean, highly automated environment where your technical skills and input will genuinely make an impact.

The Role Working on a permanent days shift, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a range of automated packaging machinery to ensure optimal plant performance.
Key responsibilities include:

- Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown response
- Preventative and predictive maintenance across production lines
- Working with automated machinery, conveyors, and packaging equipment
- Diagnosing faults within PLC systems and supporting automation improvements
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reliability
- Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams





About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- NSW Electrical Licence (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within manufacturing (ideally FMCG or packaging)
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
- Exposure to PLC systems (fault finding or basic programming highly regarded)
- Experience working with automated machinery and fast-paced production lines
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and reliability
