We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology, someone who can understand the problem, work out what’s really required and help ensure we solve it in the right way and in the right place.

This is a hands-on role working across both project and BAU delivery. Your initial focus will be supporting our recently implemented contact centre platform, with broader opportunities across Pioneer’s business systems and technology initiatives.

What you'll be doing

As our Business Systems Analyst, you’ll:

- Partner with stakeholders to understand business problems, processes, desired outcomes and system requirements.

- Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops, translating business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.

- Analyse processes, system behaviour, business rules and dependencies to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

- Help determine whether requirements are best addressed through process change, system configuration, integration, data or another platform.

- Work closely with platform specialists, configuration teams, developers, testers and vendors to support solution design and delivery.

- Maintain clear, usable system and process documentation and help build robust ongoing platform knowledge.

- Support backlog refinement, prioritisation, testing, UAT, defect investigation and implementation.

- Identify opportunities for ongoing platform improvement, better usability and greater business value.

What you'll bring





We’re looking for someone who enjoys understanding both how the business works and how systems can make it work better.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Experience delivering technology or business systems change in a Business Analyst or similar role.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn business needs into practical system outcomes.

- Strong communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management capability.

- Experience working across system configuration, integrations, data flows and cross-platform dependencies.

- The ability to balance immediate delivery priorities with longer-term platform ownership and continuous improvement.

- Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar delivery tools.

- Experience supporting testing, UAT, defect investigation and implementation.

- Experience with enterprise SaaS, CCaaS/contact centre, CRM, collections or workflow platforms would be highly regarded.

- Financial services, collections or other regulated-industry experience is desirable.
