Humanities Teacher - Full Time (1.0 FTE), Permanent Teaching Position - Commencing 2027 Academic Year
Key Selection Criteria: Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications and teaching experience relevant to the learning area
- Experience teaching Business Innovation up to Stage 2
- Experience teaching Legal Studies (preferred)
- Proven experience and enthusiasm for teaching Humanities to a very high standard
- High level IT skills with demonstrated success in the effective use and application of technology in teaching and learning
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and sensitively with staff, parents and students
- Commitment to continued professional development and the application of learning outcomes in ongoing teaching practice
- Involvement with relevant professional organisations
As a Teacher at Immanuel, you'll be responsible for the development and delivery of quality learning and teaching, providing an education where the whole person can grow and develop. This includes contribution to Pastoral Care and Co-curricular programs of the School.
You'll have commitment and enthusiasm for the teaching of young people in a way that is meaningful and engaging and work collaboratively with teaching and professional staff across the College to ensure delivery of high-quality educational outcomes for our students.
