Our client is seeking to employ skilled Telecommunications Technical Officers or Technologists to support and maintain their telecommunications and network infrastructure, with additional responsibility for business systems administration.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and support enterprise wireless network infrastructure, including access point configuration, RF planning and connectivity troubleshooting
2. Administer the organisation's phone system, which could include call flow configuration, extensions and trunk management
3. Manage telecommunications carrier services and site connectivity
4. Provide day-to-day technical support to ensure network and telecommunications uptime and performance
5. Diagnose and resolve network, connectivity and infrastructure issues in a timely manner
6. Assist with administering and supporting the organisation's ERP or business management system, including user access and reporting, where applicable
7. Manage mobile device and handheld device fleets using mobile device management (MDM) platforms, including devices used for warehouse or inventory systems where applicable
8. Support broader IT security requirements, including email security,



access controls and threat monitoring
9. Liaise with external technology vendors and service providers on infrastructure projects
10. Provide on-call/after-hours support from time to time
11. Undertake other telecommunications and IT infrastructure duties as reasonably required by the business

Requirements:

1. Advanced Diploma or Bachelor degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field
2. Demonstrated experience in enterprise networking and business telecommunications systems
3. Experience administering ERP or business management software
4. Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) platforms
5. Robust problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
6. Good communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $80,000 per year, negotiable depending on your years of work experience and skills

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, with possible on-call/after-hours support

Work Location: In person
