DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Call Centre/Customer Service Officer for a temporary government opportunity based in Mackay. About the Role

As a Call Centre consultant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality customer support and administrative services while contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture. Working within a performance-driven environment, you will be responsible for managing enquiries, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the accurate delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver efficient, professional and customer-focused service to customers and stakeholders.
- Respond to enquiries and provide timely and accurate information and support.
- Maintain effective relationships with industry representatives, local suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Work within a fast-paced workplace, meeting performance expectations and service delivery standards.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution and managing challenging customer interactions.
- Prepare, update and maintain documentation, records, reports and information systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Undertake general administrative duties and support operational requirements as needed.
- Contribute positively to team culture and participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

About You

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Demonstrated proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
