An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Surveyor with a Cadastral Endorsement to step into a senior position with a well-established surveying business in Brisbane.
This is a predominantly office-based, client-facing role that offers the opportunity to take ownership of project delivery while managing and supporting multiple field teams.
The Role
You will oversee up to five survey field parties, provide technical direction, manage workflows, and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
Approximately 90% of the role will be office-based, making this an ideal opportunity for a Registered Surveyor looking to move away from being predominantly site-based and into a senior management and client-facing position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and coordinate up to 5 survey field parties
- Oversee project delivery, quality and technical standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to field surveyors
- Manage project workflows, priorities and resources
- Liaise directly with clients and key stakeholders
- Review and check survey work and deliverables
- Support the development and performance of field teams
- Assist with project planning and commercial delivery
About You
We are looking for a Registered Surveyor with a Cadastral Endorsement and 5+ years of industry experience who is confident taking ownership of projects, teams and client relationships.
You will ideally have:
- Registered Surveyor – Queensland
- Cadastral Endorsement – essential
- 5+ years' professional surveying experience
- Experience managing or leading survey field teams
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Experience with Leica surveying equipment
- Robust 12D and Civil 3D capability
- Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Professional and commercially minded approach
