Job Description
- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of facilities to ensure a protected and functional environment.
- Oversee asset management, including procurement, tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Monitor and manage budgets related to facilities and asset operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all facilities.
- Prepare reports on facility and asset management activities for stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Facilities and Asset Manager should have:
- Experience in facilities management or asset management, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and financial tracking for operational activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.
