About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef / Cook to join our dynamic team at Stanley's Barn Restaurant in Upper Coomera QLD 4209. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our acclaimed restaurant.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality dishes from our diverse menu
2. Ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
3. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
4. Assisting in menu development and implementation of new recipes and special event catering.
5. Monitoring inventory and placing orders to maintain adequate supplies
6. Adhering to budgetary guidelines and controlling food costs
7. Contributing to a positive and professional kitchen workplace

What we're looking for

1. Formal culinary qualification (Certificate IV in commercial cookery or equivalent)
2.



Must have a minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
3. Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
4. Excellent time management, multitasking and problem-solving abilities
5. A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
6. Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen operations
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. Available Wednesday through Sunday ( plus Public Holidays)
