We have built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, attention to detail, reliability and exceptional customer service. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Painting Trades Worker to join our skilled team.

About the Role

You will work across a variety of residential and commercial painting projects, delivering high-quality painting and finishing work.

Our office is based in Glenroy, Melbourne, Australia. The role requires travelling to various residential and commercial project sites to undertake painting work as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, filling holes and cracks, repairing, sanding and sealing surfaces.
2. Set up work areas, including ladders and scaffolding, and protect surrounding areas from paint splatter.
3. Select, mix and prepare paints to achieve required colours and finishes.
4. Apply paints, varnishes, stains and other finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
5. Hang wallpaper, including matching patterns and trimming edges where required.
6.



Undertake interior and exterior painting across residential and commercial projects.
7. Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality and professional finish.
8. Clean and maintain painting equipment, tools and work areas.
9. Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

1. Certificate IV in Painting and Decorating, or a relevant equivalent qualification;
2. a minimum of one year of relevant painting industry experience;
3. demonstrated experience in residential and/or commercial painting;
4. sound knowledge of surface preparation, painting and finishing techniques;
5. strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship;
6. ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
7. a reliable and professional approach to work.

Salary: $85,000 per annum + Compulsory Super
