About the role
Toowoomba Motors Pty Ltd has a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Toyota as a Service Advisor. We are looking for a dynamic, customer service focused individual who thrives in a fast paced environment.

As a Toyota Service Advisor, the main focus is to be the primary contact between the dealership and the customer, for repair and maintenance service on vehicles. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our Toyota Service Centre. What you'll be doing

- Providing a high level of customer service by responding to customer inquiries, booking services and managing their expectations throughout the repair process

- Meeting and greeting Customers including Driveway Service.

- Organising courtesy/loan vehicles for the Customer.

- Assisting Customers with understanding their vehicle's maintenance requirements including:

- Creating Repair Orders detailing service work required.

- Estimating the cost and time needed to complete a job.

- Keeping customers up to date with progress of vehicle repairs and recommending appropriate service and repair solutions

- Gaining authorisation and organising completion of extra works when required

- Handling customer concerns with their vehicle service.

- Final costing, closing, and payment of repair orders.

- Ensuring all customer documentation is accurately completed and following up on any outstanding items

- Liaising with our Toyota-trained technicians to coordinate vehicle inspections,



diagnose issues, and provide customers with accurate repair quotes and timeframes

- Identifying and pursuing opportunities to upsell additional services to customers

- Liaising between Customers and any sublet supplier

- Providing exceptional after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships

- Helping bring new business into the service department

- Actively promoting the sale of Genuine Toyota parts, including tyres and batteries.

- Promoting the dealership and the Toyota brand

- Keeping work areas clean and up to date.

- Maintain a safe work environment, adhere to WH&S; guidelines.

- Assist with secure storage of vehicles and keys, and securing of the Service Department at day end.

What we're looking for

- Solid customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information in plain language

- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage a busy work environment

- Exceptional computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite and able to learn recent systems quickly.

- Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance processes





- A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with technicians, parts staff and management

- A valid Manual QLD driver's licence and a commitment to workplace health and safety

- Commitment to Toyota’s goals and operational standards.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience

- Previous experience in the Service division of an Automotive Dealership

- Sound knowledge of auto mechanics

- Knowledge of TUNE/SAP and Toyota-specific systems and procedures
