Are you a highly experienced Java Developer looking for your next opportunity with an established Australian Government agency?
The agency is seeking an experienced Java Developer to work within its Chief Information Officer Division.
The role supports the Team Leader in the day-to-day development, maintenance, enhancement and support of applications within the agency’s ICT setting.
The successful candidate will undertake moderately complex to complex and/or sensitive work, applying expertise in software application design and development to meet business needs.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical government services and support the ongoing improvement of enterprise ICT systems.
Role will be responsible for, but not limited to:



Appling expertise to enhance and improve existing software, including designing, developing, implementing, and testing software systems, in line with business requirements and software development standards. Collaboration with other teams, investigate and resolve issues with the operation of an application. Addressing errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Performing revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
