About the role

As a Cleaner, you will play a key role in ensuring our facility remains clean, hygienic, and welcoming. You will work as part of a supportive hospitality team and contribute to the wellbeing and comfort of our residents at our residential aged care facility.

Key responsibilities

- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard.

- Maintain infection prevention and control practices.

- Perform routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising.

- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.

- Dispose of waste in accordance with facility procedures.

- Report maintenance, safety, or cleaning concerns to the appropriate staff.

- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive environment.

About you

- Previous cleaning experience (aged care, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial cleaning preferred but not essential).





- A strong commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills.

- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

- Respectful and caring communication skills when interacting with residents and families.

- Understanding of infection control practices or willingness to learn.

- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
