Play a pivotal role in supporting senior leadership by delivering high-level business and administrative services to the Business Services Team, Service Director/Director of Nursing and Midwifery, and Director of Rural and Remote Services. Ensure seamless operations, foster efficiency, and contribute to the successful achievement of organisational goals.

Join the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service team of over 6000 staff to deliver health services in Far North Queensland. We offer a range of medical, nursing and midwifery, administrative and support roles at Cairns and more than 30 regional, rural and remote facilities.

About your role:
In this position you will…..
- Ensure the coordination and management of the administrative duties within the Team are undertaken in a proactive and flexible manner.
- Identify, develop and implement procedures,
strategies and work practices in collaboration with the Business Manager and Business Analysis Rural and Remote Services which will improve workflow, efficiency and effectiveness of the office and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Be an effective team member, willing to learn and contribute to continuous business improvement, innovation and adoption of best practice standards and procedures.
