Are you an experienced Home Care leader ready to shape the future of a significant and evolving care portfolio?
We are seeking an accomplished General Manager - Home Care to take executive-level ownership of a well-established Home Care operation. This is a highly influential leadership opportunity for someone who can combine commercial thinking, operational excellence and a genuine commitment to quality care.
You will lead the business through its next phase of growth and transformation, strengthening operational performance while ensuring services remain responsive to the changing needs of older Australians and the evolving aged care landscape.

The Prospect

Reporting into the executive leadership structure, you will have broad responsibility for the performance and future direction of the Home Care business.
Your remit will span strategy, operations, growth, financial performance, workforce leadership, quality and governance. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to translate organisational priorities into an effective Home Care strategy and operating model.
With the implementation of Support at Home reshaping the sector, this role offers the opportunity to influence how services are delivered, identify new opportunities for growth and ensure the business is positioned to succeed in a changing environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Set the strategic direction for the Home Care business and translate strategy into clear operational priorities.
- Lead the evolution of the operating model to improve efficiency, scalability, service quality and customer experience.
- Identify and deliver opportunities to grow client numbers, service utilisation, revenue and overall market presence.
- Take ownership of financial and commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting,



pricing and sustainable business performance.
- Lead and develop a strong senior leadership team, creating clear accountability and a performance-focused culture.
- Strengthen workforce capability and ensure resources are aligned with current and future service requirements.
- Lead major transformation and improvement initiatives across systems, processes and service delivery.
- Guide the organisation through Support at Home and broader aged care reforms, ensuring operational readiness and effective implementation.
- Maintain strong oversight of quality, governance, risk and regulatory compliance.
- Use performance insights and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and support informed decision-making.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to contribute to broader organisational strategy and priorities.
- Champion a culture where customer experience, quality, accountability and continuous improvement remain at the centre of decision-making.

What You'll Bring

You will be a commercially minded senior leader who understands the complexities of delivering high-quality care services at scale.
Ideally, your experience will include:

- Substantial senior or executive leadership experience within Home Care, aged care, health, disability or community services.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Home Care environment and the transition to Support at Home.
- Experience overseeing complex service operations with responsibility for people, quality,



customer outcomes and financial performance.
- A successful track record leading large and dispersed workforces through senior operational leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to improve business performance while maintaining high standards of care and service delivery.
- Robust financial capability across P&L; management, budgeting, forecasting, funding and pricing.
- Experience developing operating models and implementing scalable systems and processes.
- Proven capability leading organisational transformation, change and continuous improvement.
- Sound understanding of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards and the broader regulatory environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to operate effectively at executive level.
- A leadership style that builds capability, creates accountability and brings people with you through change.
