We specialise in handmade pasta made fresh from scratch daily, using the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from local suppliers on the Bellarine Peninsula. Paired with a curated selection of wines and a relaxed European-inspired atmosphere, Arlo is a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike.

We're seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our robust team of professional staff. As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in our fast-paced kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in menu execution, pasta production, and maintaining our high standards of quality and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in daily preparation and production of fresh handmade pasta and seasonal dishes

- Manage kitchen operations during service, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow

- Oversee stock management, quality control, and adherence to food safety standards

- Contribute to menu development with a focus on fresh,



local produce

- Lead and mentor junior staff in a positive, collaborative environment

What We're Looking For:

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie in a similar high-quality venue

- Strong management skills and an even temperament

- Passion for using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients

- Excellent organisational skills and ability to thrive under pressure

- A team player with a professional attitude and strong work ethic

Availability:

- Must be available for evenings and weekends (we operate lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday)
