About Baillie Hill & the Role

Baillie Hill is an established hospitality and community precinct in East Victoria Park, bringing together restaurants, bars, gardens, event spaces and community areas across a unique site.

We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to take responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance, presentation and upkeep of the precinct, ensuring our venues, gardens, outdoor areas and facilities remain safe, functional and well presented.

This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional, facilities coordinator or ex-tradie who enjoys being hands-on while also taking ownership of coordinating contractors, preventative maintenance and day-to-day site requirements.

You’ll work closely with our venue teams, grounds crew, operations team and external contractors to keep Baillie Hill running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across the precinct

- Carry out hands-on repairs, maintenance and minor works

- Coordinate contractors, trades and external service providers

- Conduct regular site inspections and follow up maintenance requirements

- Manage and oversee the grounds team, ensuring gardens, outdoor areas and shared spaces are maintained to a high standard

- Manage maintenance schedules, records and follow-up actions

- Coordinate deliveries,



contractor access and site access as required

- Support WHS, safety and compliance requirements across the precinct

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in facilities, maintenance, property maintenance or a trade-based role

- Strong practical skills with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach

- Experience coordinating contractors, trades or maintenance works

- Good organisational and communication skills

- Ability to manage competing priorities across a large, operational site

- Basic computer skills and confidence maintaining maintenance records

- A robust focus on safety, presentation and attention to detail

- Physically capable and comfortable working outdoors and across a busy hospitality precinct

Desirable – Not Essential

- Trade qualification or strong practical trade experience

- Previous Facilities Coordinator or Maintenance Coordinator experience

- Hospitality, commercial property or large-site experience

- First Aid and/or Working at Heights

- Experience working around animals, stables or agricultural areas
