The Role

We are looking for a motivated Equipment Inspector to join our team and develop into a skilled field technician in lifting and height safety systems.

This role is more than inspections. You will be working hands on with lifting equipment, including crane rope maintenance, greasing wire ropes, assisting with re-roping, and supporting fault finding on large scale equipment.

This is a field based role with variety, responsibility, and full training provided.

What You Will Be Doing

• Inspect lifting equipment, rigging gear, and height safety systems on client sites
• Grease crane wire ropes and assist with rope maintenance programs
• Support re-roping of cranes and lifting systems
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving on large industrial equipment
• Complete accurate inspection reports and compliance documentation
• Identify wear, damage, and non compliant equipment
• Travel to client sites across mining, port, and industrial environments




• Work closely with the team to maintain safe and compliant operations

What We Are Looking For

• Solid attention to detail and practical thinking ability
• Comfortable working at heights (essential for this role)
• Hands on mindset with mechanical aptitude preferred
• Willingness to learn technical lifting and inspection skills
• Ability to work independently in the field and within a team
• Positive communication skills on site
• Manual driver’s licence required
• Ability to obtain police clearance, pre employment medical, and drug and alcohol screening
• Australian citizenship or Permanent residency required
