About the role

The Pet Butcher is seeking a casual Food Production team member to join our operations in Hindmarsh, SA. This role is integral to our manufacturing and production processes, supporting the delivery of high-quality pet food products. As a casual position 25 - 38 hours per week , this offers flexibility whilst contributing meaningfully to our production operations. You will be working within a dynamic manufacturing environment where precision, quality control and efficiency are paramount.

What you'll be doing

- Operating and monitoring food production equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards

- Preparing raw materials and ingredients for production processes

- Following standardized recipes and production procedures to ensure consistent product quality

- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across production areas and equipment

- Identifying and reporting any production issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors

- Working collaboratively with other production team members to meet daily targets

- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

- Experience in food production or manufacturing environments, or demonstrated ability to learn production processes quickly

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards

- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work in accordance with documented procedures





- Physical fitness and capability to perform tasks that may involve standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive motions

- Reliable and punctual approach to work, with flexibility to accommodate casual scheduling requireme

- Basic numeracy skills for recording and reporting production data
