About the work unit / facility:
Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) provides the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of built infrastructure, engineering systems, plant and equipment across Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS). The service delivers planned preventative maintenance and a 24-hour breakdown service for general repairs and emergency maintenance.

Competitive salary and benefits:
Generous remuneration package value up to $11,303 p.m. comprising:
- Salary range of $4188.00 to $4556.70 p.f. (AO5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- District Division North East and Laundry allowances
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
As the BEMS Contracts Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the effective and cost-efficient delivery of plant and infrastructure maintenance services. With a strong commercial focus, you will contribute to strategic sourcing, expenditure analysis, contract management and procurement activities that support quality maintenance services across Townsville HHS.
Requirements:
- Queensland Procurement Certificate Program Level 2: Intermediate Procurement Certificate is highly desirable, or willingness to obtain.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
