DM Composites is a specialist contractor delivering FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer) boardwalks, pedestrian bridges, marine structures and public infrastructure projects across Australia. We design, manufacture, supply and install our systems and work with councils, government agencies and construction contractors on civil and infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor for an immediate start on projects located between Mackay and Emerald, Queensland.

This is an initial 3-month temporary contract suited to someone with solid site supervision experience who can coordinate construction activities, subcontractors, materials, safety and quality requirements while working closely with our project management team.

The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling between project locations within the Mackay–Emerald region as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site.

- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and material deliveries.

- Monitor works against drawings, specifications and project requirements.

- Maintain site diaries, progress reports and photographic records.

- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

- Conduct site inspections and assist with toolbox meetings and pre-starts.





- Identify site issues and coordinate practical solutions with the project team.

- Monitor construction quality, productivity and programme progress.

- Maintain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar role.

- Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, carpentry, formwork, structural works or related construction projects.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

- Strong understanding of site safety and construction procedures.

- White Card.

- Current Australian driver's licence.

- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and coordinate site teams effectively.

- Willingness to travel between Mackay, Emerald and surrounding project locations.

- Available for an immediate start.

Experience with FRP, boardwalks, bridges, marine structures or public infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
