About the Role

Days Eggs is currently recruiting a Full-Time Store Person to join our team at our Lower Light Grading and Distribution Facility.

This is not your average Store Person role. You will work closely as part of a small but essential team, supporting the day-to-day operation of our warehouse and distribution activities. This all-rounder role will involve receivals, dispatch, order picking, packing and general warehouse duties.

As a Store Person, you will

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

- Picking and packing customer orders;

- Loading and unloading vehicles;

- Participating in periodical stock takes;

- Operating forklifts and pallet jacks;

- Maintaining stock and inventory records;

- Assisting with the upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse;

- Following all food safety, hygiene and GMP procedures and policies;

- Reporting any non-conformances to the FSQM team; and





- Completing any other duties as assigned and within your ability.

About you

As an experienced Warehouse Store Person, you will possess:

- Exceptional attention to detail;

- A sound level of written and verbal communication;

- The ability to lift boxes up to 15kg;

- The ability to work in both chiller and dry warehouse areas;

- The confidence to speak and interact with others;

- A positive, can-do attitude; and

- The ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A current Driver’s Licence;

- A current High Risk Forklift Licence, LF class;

- A National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one;

- Well-developed time management skills; and

- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

Desirable Criteria

- Heavy Rigid Driver’s Licence.
