Built Illusions is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Labourer/Trades Assistant to join our team.

About the role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is practical, reliable and eager to learn. You'll work alongside our tradesmen and supervisors, assisting with day-to-day tasks and helping keep projects running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

- Assist tradesmen with a variety of commercial fit-out works.

- Help with framing, sheeting, doors, aluminium partitions and general construction tasks.

- Load, unload and move materials around sites.

- Keep work areas clean, organised and safe.

- Assist with deliveries and collecting materials from suppliers when required.

- Drive the company ute to and from sites, suppliers and other locations as required.

- Assist with setting up and packing down work areas.

- Use hand and power tools safely.

- Work closely with tradesmen and site supervisors to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.





- Learn recent skills and gain hands-on experience in the commercial fit-out industry.

- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- White Card required.

- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport required.
