We are currently seeking a competent, motivated and reliable Full Time Engineering Draftsperson in our Glenella manufacturing hub.

About the role

As a Draftsperson at Legra Engineering, you’ll play a crucial role in preparing accurate and production ready 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Inventor design suites. Working closely with our technical and production teams, you'll support the delivery of high quality, specialist pumping equipment and components for our local and export markets.

What You Will Do

- Develop accurate, high-quality, workshop detailed drawings to Australian standards for our fabrication and machine shop manufacturing teams.

- Develop DXF, Step and NC1 drawing files for profile cutting, tube laser cutting and beam line processing of fabrication build materials.

- Assist with development of detailed as-built parts, operations and maintenance manuals for Legra products.

- Converse with structural engineers and technical teams to achieve design and structural certification.

- Maintenance of drawing registers and modernising of aging 2D drawings into current file formats.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience:



Advanced experience in drafting, particularly in machining, fabrication, and process NC cutting applications.

- Skills: High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills

- Team Player: Enjoy working as part of a supportive team while being capable of managing tasks independently.

- Software Proficiency: Skilled in industry-standard drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar).

- Knowledge: Understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.

- OH&S;: Be committed to company OH&S; policies and work procedures.
