We have an opening for an Internal Sales & Customer Service Representative, based at our Forrestdale head office. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm.

About the role

As our Internal Sales & Customer Service Representative, you’ll be a key point of contact for our customers, providing friendly, professional service and support across phone and email, as well as assisting customers at our Forrestdale head office.

You’ll assist customers with orders, product enquiries and technical advice, while building robust relationships and helping them find the right solutions. You’ll work closely with our sales, customer service, warehouse and marketing teams to ensure customers receive a great experience from enquiry through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently

- Respond to incoming phone calls and email enquiries





- Assist customers and end users with product and technical enquiries

- Provide friendly and professional service to walk-in customers

- Assist with warranties and invoicing as required

- Build strong relationships with customers and support their ongoing needs

- Work closely with our sales and warehouse teams

- Support the planning and coordination of customer and industry events

- Assist the warehouse team from time to time during busy periods

About you

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and customer focused, with the confidence to communicate with a wide range of customers.

- Previous experience in customer service, internal sales or a similar role

- Knowledge or experience within the pond, water garden, aquarium, irrigation or related industries is highly regarded

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Friendly, professional and confident phone manner

- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Comfortable learning about products and providing customers with advice

- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated

- A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to help across the team when required

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

- Year 12 or equivalent

- A qualification in sales, marketing or business is desirable but not essential
