Bilyana Park is a hands-on family farming business located at Kyancutta on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, with a strong focus on broadacre cropping and sheep production.

We are seeking an experienced, reliable and motivated Farm Operations Hand to join our small team in a permanent full-time position.

This is a varied, hands-on role across all aspects of the farming operation, from seeding and spraying through to harvest, livestock work, shearing and general farm maintenance. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in their work and is comfortable taking responsibility for day-to-day farm operations.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Operating and maintaining modern farm machinery and equipment
- Broadacre cropping operations including seeding, spraying and harvest
- Livestock husbandry and general sheep work
- Fencing, water systems and general paddock work
- General farm and machinery maintenance
- Using on-farm technology and ag-tech systems, including Agworld
- Working independently as well as part of a small, supportive team
- Assisting across the farm wherever required during busy seasonal periods

As with any broadacre farming operation, hours will vary throughout the year, with longer days and some weekend work required during peak periods such as seeding, shearing and harvest.

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous broadacre cropping and/or livestock experience – 3+ years preferred
- Experience operating agricultural machinery
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Initiative and the ability to work confidently without constant supervision
- A reliable, practical and positive approach to work
- An interest in technology and modern farming systems,



or a willingness to learn
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- HR or HC licence preferred
- Forklift licence and police clearance, or willingness to obtain

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
