Senior Bookkeeper - Construction

This represents a rare opportunity with an incredible construction company headquartered in Fortitude Valley. This company has an excellent reputation in the industry. They specialize in delivering high quality residential and commercial projects.

POSITION

Due to internal restructuring, the position of Senior Bookkeeper has been created.

Reporting into the Directors the role will involve the following:

- Manage the day to day internal finance needs of the company
- Payroll
- AP + AR + debtor/creditor management
- Reconciliations
- Preparation of month end reports
- Work with the external accountants to ensure statutory obligations are met

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Degree Qualified or Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting
- 3+ years relevant experience within public practice, accounting or bookkeeping
- Experience within the construction and property development will be highly desirable




- Due to the company having a related entity, exposure to the medical sector would be advantageous
- Exceptional Xero experience
- Ability to work autonomously and a self starter
- Very secure employment history (non negotiable)
- Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Energetic and motivated personality with great multi-tasking
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
